“Los Encinos Restaurant has been thought of as an independent restaurant at the Hacienda Santana Hotel located in Tecate, B.C.; however, given the proximity of the space designated for its construction to the the hotel, it was proposed to design a building with elements that would integrate it to the site. The arches, brick concrete and vegetation become the essence of this place.//Restaurante “Los Encinos” se ha pensado como un restaurante independiente al hotel Hacienda Santana ubicado en Tecate, B.C.; sin embargo dado a la proximidad del espacio destinado para su construcción al conjunto del hotel, se propuso diseñar un edificio con elementos que lo integrarán de cierta manera al sitio. Los arcos, el ladrillo, concreto, barro y vegetación forman parte del carácter de este lugar.

The ground floor accommodates the kitchen, bathroom and diner, where there is a connection to an existing underground wine cellar. The upper floor becomes a terrace with lounge areas and a bar. The terrace focus its views towards the hills and oaks of the site.//La planta baja está destinada a la cocina, baños y comensales donde se hace una conexión a una cava subterránea ya existente. La planta alta se convierte en una terraza con áreas lounge, zona de periqueras y barra. La terraza centra sus vistas hacia los cerros y encinos del sitio.
